Seller Bio: Worthy Soy Candles

Tell us a Little About Yourself. My name is Erica Worthy & I am the crafter behind WorthySoyCandles.Etsy.com. I live in the lovely North Georgia town of Cumming & I have 3 beautiful children. I love how doing my crafts at home has allowed me to be the stay-at-home mom I have always wanted to be for them.

How Did you get Started Doing What you Do? I began crocheting about 8 years ago. I learned from a fellow co-worker at the time. She would teach me during lunch breaks throughout the week. Crochet was so much fun to me that I decided I wanted to try more crafts, that’s what lead me into my Soy Candle making. Once I found out all the benefits of Soy Candles opposed to parafin & incense, it seemed like a no brainer to make the switch & make them myself.

How Did you Pick Your Shop Name? My shop name is pretty plain & simple. Though I would like to say I called it Worthy Soy Candles because I make the most worthy candles you will find… I really called it Worthy Soy Candles because my last name is Worthy & I make Soy Candles… &  Crochet. :)

What makes your items special/ unique? What makes my items special? Well, I do my best to offer the best products & friendliest customer service that I can. The wax I use for my candles is an all natural Soy wax that is formulated to have the best scent throw on the market today. This, coupled with the fact that I triple strength  candles with high end fragrance oils guarantees that my customer’s will have a strong smelling, long lasting, all natural Soy candle. I also have an extensive fragrance list with complete fragrance descriptions listed. I think this is an important factor because it helps my customer’s get a better idea of what the fragrance will smell like before they buy it. As for my crochet, I always make sure that the items I make are of the best quality.  I have a very high standard for all the products I make & I am a bit of a perfectionist.

Is there anything else we should know? Though I greatly enjoy making my Soy Candles & helping others learn about the benefits of burning Soy Candles in their homes, it is with my crochet that I really am able to express my creative side. I have several items in my store that are unique to Etsy & you won’t find items like them anywhere else. Such as my Parappa the Rapper Hat & my Wear Your Breakfast 3 piece ensemble.

I am constantly increasing my fragrance list. I try to carry a wide variety of all types of fragrances. To enter this contest simply comment below with your email address & tell me what your favorite fragrance is. It can be a fragrance I currently carry or one you wish I would. If I don’t carry it, please make sure you also tell me what fragrance from my current list you would like as your prize. Find a complete list of my fragrances in my profile.
The prize will be an 8 oz. Soy Candle in the fragrance of your choice.

    I would have said that I prefer the sweet smelling candles, but truth be told my favourite of your frangances is Ocean Breeze! Reminds of me holidays by the same and relaxation time!

    I love Erica she is supper awesome and very friendly. She has made a custom hat for myself black and purple with a brim and a custom scarf from my brother bacon eggs and toast. Her candles are awesome too yesterday my house smelted like gingerbread and today it smells like monkey farts :) I love the macintosh apple one the most.

    Worthy Soy Candles are the best! I own some of the tea light candles, but haven’t had the chance to purchase any of the larger ones yet. They really do smell amazing and whoever wins is a lucky person! My favorite scent is Dragon’s Blood! :)

    FRUIT SLICES!!!! I love this scent, and I love Soy Worthy Candles!!! I have them all over my house. I LOVE LOVE Erica!! She is the best!!! Seriously, the ONLY time I do not have the entire house smelling like Fruit Slices is during the holidays, and then it is her pumpkin scent, which I love too!!! And my bathroom is Yuzu fruit.

    I adore soy candles and since I just had a baby last November I only burn soy in my home too! I LOVE the fragrance of Lavendar and PAtchoulli. If I were to win your contest I would love to try your Worthy original scent of TAUNJEWHAT ( I”m sure I mispelled it!!). Once fragrance that I love that would be good to add is orange clove.     Erica’s candles are awesome. She is the best!!! Lemongrass would be my favorite scent. I have tried the green tea and lemongrass but would love to see Lemongrass by itself.

    Erica makes the best candles ever, not only do they burn super evenly, but the scents are amazing too. I’ve bought tealights, votives, and some of her hex jars and I am NEVER disappointed! My favorite scent so far is Pumpkin Souffle with fruit slices as a close second.
